Concrete Buckets: Models and Capacities

OVP Group manufactures a full range of concrete buckets designed for tower cranes, mobile cranes and overhead cranes on construction sites. The standard catalog includes four base capacities — 250 L, 500 L, 800 L and 1500 L — in three configurations: standard bottom-pour, side-chute (for pouring next to walls) and bucket with fork pockets for forklift handling. Each concrete bucket is built in Italy with S275JR/EN 10025 carbon steel, finished in epoxy paint, and supplied with EC declaration of conformity to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and lifting equipment standard EN 14502.

Concrete Bucket Accessories

Optional accessories include the integrated operator platform (allowing the worker to ride safely on the bucket during positioning), reinforced rubber discharge hoses (1.5–3 m), pneumatic gate actuators for hands-free pouring, and custom paint colors. All concrete buckets are tested with FEM-validated finite element analysis and load-tested at 1.25× SWL before shipment.

Can a concrete bucket be used with a forklift?
Yes. Models with integrated fork pockets can be handled by both a crane and a forklift, so the same concrete bucket works across the whole site.

Are OVP concrete buckets CE certified?
Every concrete bucket is CE marked and certified to EN 14502 (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC) and load-tested at 1.25× SWL before delivery.
